Dear Family

Since Suzie's party when we announced the engagement Jack and I have had more time to talk though what we'd like to do wedding wise. While we would love for everyone to be bridesmaids (it does seem fair given the majority have waited their whole lives so far to be one) we have decided to have a very small wedding with just mum and dad and Shirley as witnesses is what we would like.

This is my version of an elopement. I hope you won't be too disappointed that you won't be there to attend the wedding but I do hope you might want to come along to a post wedding party. We haven't thought of a date/week/month as yet but I can tell you it will be fully catered and somewhere local rather than at someone's home so no-one has to think about cleaning or mowing.

Jack and I will be dropping in to see mum and dad next Sunday to talk through some plans.
